We started at boardmember Perry's office behind the plaza at the Apple store on 5th ave with some invigorating caroling and fliering wearing our stunning homemade antlers and designer tinsel necklaces (courtesy of the dollar store). We then moved the party to boardmember Mnunchin's intimidating office on 50th st. Three of us got through lobby security and took the elevator up to the 30th floor where Dune Capital's boardroom looks out over all of midtown. We were buzzed into the office and waited in the lobby for Mr. Mnunchin's assistant, who, when she saw that we were carrying a plate of cookies for her boss, asked if we would like to to give them to him ourselves. Unfortunately, others in the office started to get suspicious and asked us where we were from and we were asked to leave just as Mr. Mnunchin himself walked out of his office--they took the cookies--a holiday assortment of reindeer and tree stumps with the edible message "Save our trees!"--and our card and hurried off with them. He definitely got the message! Overall, we had a lot of fun and riled up midtown for a brief moment on a chilly morning.
